On April 21, 2018, Gardens of Olympus had been featured in Villa Siena, a beautifully designed party venue that many treasure. One could say that the prom was in full bloom as students danced the night away in mystic gowns and suits.

Many came to have an awesome time that Saturday night and took lots of pictures with friends to cherish memories and the wonderful moments there at prom. STUCO has done a ton of good things to make sure Gardens of Olympus is special. Mr. O’Neal, the teacher for STUCO says, “the Junior class has done an excellent job creating and promoting this prom. They’ve been working with everything they got to complete this theme for the student body and we think the student body will be really happy with the result.”

According to Kayla Smith, a Junior who is part of STUCO, explains the process on how they made prom successful, which they “had time to plan trying to come up with something and making sure it wasn’t cliche or done before, and basically coming up with something that could work.” Gardens of Olympus has had a lot of organization and there were many places to move around without there being just one single spot to be.

There were some students who went as a couple, some students with large groups and some with smaller groups. But no matter the size of the group that went to prom, many could agree they had a good time. Senior Higley student, Madison Montgomery describes her plan she had for prom, “going with a whole bunch of friends, about ten people, party and then afterwards go to Main Event and then party some more.” Additionally, prom was the night of her birthday which topped off her unique plans with Gardens of Olympus.

According to Bailey Fletcher, a Junior here in Higley, believes “to live in the moment, try not to stress out because I think some get stressed about getting ready and just have fun since one only gets to do this once or twice.” Additionally, Gardens of Olympus is such a great experience to be able to remember the times had at prom, it can make one feel good they went and experienced the moment.
